Sealy Posturepedic® Elite Hybrid Brenham II 14" Firm Mattress

Construction, dimensions & buying guidance

Quick Recommendation

• Best for: Back and stomach sleepers and anyone who wants firm, stable hybrid support.
• May not be ideal for: Shoppers who prefer a plush, deeply contouring surface, or anyone who wants the slow response of an all-foam mattress.
• Firmness and feel: Firm with supportive cushioning and a buoyant hybrid response.

Construction and Feel

The Sealy Posturepedic Elite Brenham II Firm is a 14-inch hybrid that pairs premium gel memory foam with an individually responsive coil support system.

• Mattress type: Elite hybrid
• Profile: 14 inches
• Comfort direction: Firm
• Comfort foam: 2.5 inches of ComfortSense gel memory foam
• Cooling feature: SealyChill cooling cover with cool-to-the-touch fibers
• Support system: PrecisionFit coils arranged head-to-toe, with MaxSupport Technology adding an extra set of coils where support is needed most
• Edge system: DuraFlex coil edge

Performance Overview

• Recommended sleep positions: Back and stomach sleepers who want to stay lifted and aligned; combination sleepers who prefer a firmer surface may also want to compare it.
• Pressure relief: Gel memory foam comfort layers disperse weight evenly while the firm build keeps pressure relief closer to the surface.
• Cooling: The SealyChill cover uses cooling fibers for a cool-to-the-touch feel, while the coil system permits airflow. Individual temperature experience varies.
• Motion isolation: Individually wrapped coils and comfort layers are designed to reduce partner movement across the bed.
• Edge support: The DuraFlex coil edge is intended to create a more stable perimeter.
• Responsiveness: The hybrid construction feels more buoyant and easier to move across than slow-response all-foam construction.
