Construction, dimensions & buying guidance

Best for: Protecting any pillow — especially an organic latex pillow — from liquids, stains, allergens and dust mites.

The Avocado Organic Waterproof Pillow Protector slips between your pillow and your pillowcase. Two layers of GOTS-certified organic cotton surround an ultra-thin waterproof membrane derived from cornstarch, so there is no stiff, crinkly plastic sound. A hidden side zipper makes it easy to remove and wash. Pillow not included.

Features and feel

Waterproof barrier: Shields the pillow from spills and stains while staying quiet and breathable.
Organic cotton inside and out: GOTS-certified organic cotton layers surround a plant-derived waterproof membrane.
Allergen barrier: Helps keep allergens and dust mites off the pillow surface.
Hidden side zipper: Easy on, easy off for washing.
Certified: GOTS, GREENGUARD Gold, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and MADE SAFE®.

Choose your fit

Options: Standard, Queen or King. Select your size above to see its current price and availability.

Good to know: because the organic cotton settles after washing, the protector arrives intentionally oversized and reaches its precise fit after the first wash — wash before first use. Machine wash per the care label.

Shipping and delivery

Free nationwide shipping. Our current delivery estimate is 5–7 business days. Timing varies with manufacturer availability and destination; this is an estimate, not a guaranteed arrival date. Contact us before ordering if you need delivery by a specific date. See our shipping policy.

Returns and warranty

Pillows are final sale unless different terms are provided in writing at purchase. Mattress comfort trials do not apply to pillows. Manufacturing defects are handled under the written warranty for the specific product. Orders may be cancelled before processing begins; cancellation may no longer be available once processing starts. Read our return and cancellation policy.
