TEMPUR-Adapt® 11" Medium Hybrid Mattress

Construction, dimensions & buying guidance

Quick Recommendation

• Best for: Back and combination sleepers, couples, and shoppers who want TEMPUR contouring with a responsive hybrid feel at the starting tier of the TEMPUR lineup.
• May not be ideal for: Shoppers who prefer an especially soft or firm surface, or anyone seeking the slower, deeper response of an all-foam TEMPUR mattress.
• Firmness and feel: Medium with contouring comfort over responsive coil support.

Construction and Feel

The 11-inch TEMPUR-Adapt Medium Hybrid combines Original TEMPUR material with a premium innerspring support system. The surface contours gradually, while the coils add bounce and airflow compared with an all-foam support core.

• Profile: 11 inches
• Mattress type: TEMPUR hybrid
• Comfort material: Original TEMPUR material
• Support system: Premium innerspring coils
• Cover: Cool-to-touch knit surface

Performance Overview

• Recommended sleep positions: A versatile starting point for back and combination sleepers; some side sleepers who prefer medium cushioning may also want to compare it.
• Pressure relief: TEMPUR material contours around the body while the coil system provides a more responsive underlying feel.
• Cooling: The cover is designed to feel cool to the touch, and the coil support core permits airflow. This is not a Breeze-series mattress.
• Motion isolation: TEMPUR comfort material and individually responsive coils are designed to reduce partner movement across the bed.
• Edge support: The hybrid perimeter can feel more responsive than the all-foam Adapt. Test the edge in person if stability near the perimeter matters to you.
• Responsiveness: Expect easier movement and more bounce than the all-foam Adapt while retaining a contouring surface.

Adjustable-Base Compatibility

This flexible hybrid is designed for use with compatible flat foundations and adjustable bases. Confirm required support, size, and current warranty terms before purchasing. Browse current adjustable bases.

Texan Mattress Recommendation

Start with the TEMPUR-Adapt Medium Hybrid if you want to experience TEMPUR contouring without giving up a traditional responsive feel. Compare it with the TEMPUR-Adapt Medium for slower all-foam contouring and the ProAdapt Medium Hybrid for a step-up comparison.
